Committee Secretary

Aaron joined the Joint Commissioning Committee in September 2025 as Committee Secretary. In his role as Committee Secretary, he serves as the primary advisor to the Committee and the wider Joint Commissioning Team on matters relating to risk, corporate and committee governance.

Prior to joining the Committee, Aaron served as Deputy Company Secretary at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. In 2019, he was appointed Head of Corporate Governance at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, where he also held responsibility for risk and regulation.

Having studied at Cardiff University, Aaron is a qualified solicitor with more than 20 years of legal and governance experience and has worked across a range of legal practices throughout his career.

A former semi-professional rugby player, Aaron now spends his spare time trying to keep fit and coaching junior rugby in Bridgend, where he lives with his wife and two children.
