At the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning committee, you get to be involved in commissioning high quality services on behalf of and with the seven Health Boards in Wales. Our commissioned services range from all Wales services that are used every day by thousands of people across Wales - such as our 111 urgent care services, to highly specialist treatments or care needed by a very small number of people each year, such as organ transplantation.
All NWJCC jobs are listed on the NHS Jobs website and on the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee LinkedIn page
Agenda for Change is the current grading and pay system for NHS staff across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. This excludes doctors, dentists, apprentices, and some very senior managers. NHS payment bands help ensure equal pay for work of equal value.
All bands provide a salary range, for example, £35,392 - £42,618. Staff will start at the lower end of their band and usually increase slightly after two years of service. The top end of the pay band is usually met after five years of service.
