Interim Chief Commissioner

Huw George is the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee Interim Chief Commissioner and was previously the Deputy CEO and Executive Director of Operations and Finance with Public Health Wales. He has held posts on Boards in the NHS since 2003 in both Powys and Swansea. Huw trained as a Chartered Accountant and worked in London, Cardiff and Brazil. He joined the NHS in 1994 and has experience working in all sectors of the NHS and with Welsh Government on secondment.
