Mandy Rayani joined the NWJCC as a Lay Member in November 2024, bringing her 40 years of experience working in a variety of settings in NHS.

After qualifying as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Mandy initially worked in the field of dementia care in Swansea, before moving into the role of Regional Nurse for Mid and West Wales, gaining experience in performance management, quality governance.

Having worked in a variety of clinical and senior leadership roles, predominantly within the NHS in Wales, Mandy has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of health care. 

As an experienced board member, Mandy has experience of leading a broad ranging portfolio with a particular passion for driving professional and quality agendas which improve outcomes and experience for people who interact with health and care services.

As a strategic leader Mandy has contributed to and led the development of local and national standards, policy and strategy particularly in the areas of professional development, quality governance, Infection Prevention and Control and safeguarding.

Mandy has several voluntary roles and enjoys spending time with her family, socialising with friends and walking her dog.
